Izhaqat is the official Drama and Expressions society of Shiv Nadar School Gurgaon. It was founded by Aryan Vadera and Fariya Maryam, students of IBDP in 2020 with the motto “Express, Progress, Impress”.

We are a student led club and believe in facilitating learning through engagement, observation, collaboration and developing performance skills and self-confidence in our students. There are two sub-societies in Izhaqat, which are Drama and Writing.

As a club, we have come a long way from where we started - as a two-member team - currently having a core team consisting of 12 students and over 50 club members.

We have successfully participated in various film fests, organised weekly club meetings on various themes, conducted workshops, invited guest speakers well-known in the field of drama and writing and provided a platform for creative expression through theatre and writing for students. In the online mode, we created films on themes like Cyberbullying, Gender Equality, Mental Health, Period Poverty and Hope.
