Hello, We are team Parenthesis, and this is our project Hydro-harness.

We came up with this project when one of us was filling water bottles and observed the force and velocity with which it was being pumped out through the tap. We thought how crazy it would be if we could harness this hydropower to produce clean and sustainable energy. After this we thought instead of taps why not use the water force of a tubewell, to help the rural areas- Thus, Hydro-Harness was born.

What we plan on doing is placing micro-hydraulic turbines on the outlets of tubewells, where groundwater is being pumped out in incredible force, we plan on harnessing that force to produce clean energy and storing the produced energy in a battery pack. storing the produced energy in a battery pack.

We did countless tests and made a total of 5 prototypes in the span of 5 months. We plan on continuing on this project further so that we can actually implement this on a tubewell to help out villagers and farmers of the rural areas.
